Shipping to the United States 

We’re pleased to deliver to customers in the United States! Before you order, please read the following important information about shipping, customs duties, taxes, and additional charges that can apply to US deliveries.

Important Duties and Import Charges

When ordering from the UK to the US, you should be aware that all international orders may incur import duties, taxes, and fees. These charges are assessed by US Customs and Border Protection based on the value and type of goods you are importing.

• You are responsible for all duties, taxes, and fees collected at the time of delivery - we do not cover these charges.
• More information on duties and taxes can be obtained from your local customs office in the United States. 

💡 Quick Tip: These charges are separate to shipping costs and are not controlled by us - they are set by US customs authorities and carriers.

Changes to US Import Rules (De Minimis / Tariffs)

Recent changes to US import regulations mean that all shipments coming into the US are now subject to duties and taxes, regardless of the value of the order:

• Previously, many parcels under US $800 could enter duty‑free under a rule called the “de minimis threshold.”
• This exemption has been removed, so even low‑value orders may incur duties and taxes when entering the United States. 

These tariffs and duties can include:

• Customs import duties (often starting around a base rate such as ~10% depending on the product and country of origin). 
• Taxes and administrative fees collected by the carrier or customs. 

📌 Because of this change, you might see additional charges from the carrier before delivery. These are billed by the courier to release the goods from customs. 

When Are These Charges Collected?

• Import duties and taxes may be collected before delivery by your carrier.
• You may be contacted to pay these fees directly.
• If these fees aren’t paid, the shipment may be returned or abandoned by customs - in this case, refunds are processed for the product cost only (shipping remains non‑refundable).

Shipping times to the US depend on your chosen delivery method and customs processing. Delays may occur due to additional customs checks and paperwork.
